The definitive roster has been written on paper and sealed: Zambia are ready for the great challenge. The Italian head coach of FAZ futsal team Andrea Cristoforetti (who has been recently honoured in Italy with the prestigious XVIII International Award Dean Martin, in recognition of his contribution to the development of futsal in Africa) obviously relies primarily on the core group of Lusaka Automotive players, with some entries from other Premier League clubs to complete the final squad list. Zambia have been drawn in the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Group A along with hosts Morocco, Libya and Algeria.

Zambia Futsal National Team coach Andrea Cristoforetti has named his final 14-member squad for the Morocco 2026 Africa Cup of Nations.

Cristoforetti will again lead Zambia named, who are in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Libya and Algeria.

The 9th edition of the Futsal AFCON will be held from October 12-21, 2026.

Zambia play their first match against Libya on October 12, 2026, at the Salle Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat before facing hosts Morocco two days later at the same venue.

The final match will be against Algeria at Salle Ibn Yassine in Rabat on October 16, 2026.

Cristoforetti has maintained the core of the team that qualified for the tournament and will be looking to compete for a place at the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
