As announced on September 4th by Venezuelan Football Federation in a press release (click here for more details) there are significant changes on the women's futsal teams (A and Under 20) benches of Venezuela.

Former head coach Milagro Infante, who was in charge since several years, has been replaced by a well known name of national futsal: Mike Alexander Guerra Díaz.

Already assistant coach in the men's team of Venezuela, Guerra will therefore guide the girls teams starting very soon with the A team involved in the imminent Copa América to be played since September 24th in Argentina.

Coming next: the "South American Women's Championships" in 2024 as well as the first ever Women's Futsal World Cup Qualifiers.

Before turning into a coach Mike Guerra has been one of the best players in the country for several seasons having also different experiences in Europe.
