The French overseas territory in South Pacific organized its 17th Super Ligue that was stopped in September 2021 due to Covid-19 concerns in the country.

AS Université de Nouvelle Calédonie (team from the New Caledonia University) were declared winners (on past November) of the 2021 Super Ligue having lost just once in their 16 games played during the competition (the 13 clubs league would actually have 26 rounds if completed), while JS Traput were relegated in PH division (next league will be therefore composed of 12 clubs). Due to the Covid-19 situation no New Caledonian Futsal Cup will be played in this season

It is the third league title (2018, 2019, 2021) achieved by the universitary team. AS Université's striker Aser Yuma was the top scorer of the tournament with 27 goals. The competition was contested by 13 teams.

FC Siria were the first winners back in 2005 when the first edition was played.

AS Université de Nouvelle Calédonie will therefore represent the country in the next OFC Futsal Champions League.
