CASTELLO Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf, Germany. September 3rd, h. 19.00. Be ready for this moment. Not a day like another for German futsal, as Fortuna Düsseldorf and HSV-Panthers will play such an unforgettable game: the Futsal-Bundesliga opener and first ever match.
A long journey needed, but time is now. The Futsal-Bundesliga is a reality, in few days the ball will be rolling in all five games scheduled for day 1. Definitely a milestone for Germany and DFB, waiting and working for a proper national futsal competition since many years.
Below we introduce the ten clubs taking part in this first historical edition of the Futsal-Bundesliga.

2021/2022 - Promotion & Relegation
• The last-placed team in the Futsal Bundesliga is relegated to its respective Regionalliga
• The second-last-placed plays a promotion round with the champions of the five Regionalligen (North, Northeast, West, South, Southwest). Two groups of three are formed and the two winners of their respective groups are promoted to the Futsal Bundesliga.
