FIFA Futsal World Cup - Lithuania 2021
Preparations continuing for the expected dates

Given the "rumors" on a possible cancellation of the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 in Lithuania, we have got in touch with
FIFA
to know more about the current and actual situation. Both competitions and media departments confirmed that there is currently no intention to cancel or postpone it. Also, we have got in touch with AFC and CONCACAF regarding their World Cup Qualifying tournaments and waiting for a feedback, stay tuned for more info hopefully coming in the next days.

FIFA, in collaboration with the Lithuanian Football Federation, continues to constantly monitor the situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the 2021 futsal calendar.
Preparations are continuing for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™ to take place from 12 September to 3 October 2021.
