as per every year and following our endless mission we're here to celebrate once again the best sport on earth, futsal!
And that's the unchanged purpose of our annual Futsalplanet Awards, reaching their 20th edition (!) since that crazy idea came out in the year 2000.
First of all, we'd like to say thanks to UMBRO for their support in previous seasons, with special refer to their former mate Paulo Araujo: it's been a pleasure and maybe we will meet again one day, never say never!
We promise we will not bore you again saying that our goal is to focus on the actual protagonists of the game so that they get the deserved tribute and attention. Gosh, we just did it!
So, let's start!
Note: in this edition, unlike what happened in the past, we will open (tomorrow, stay tuned!) announcing the nominees for the Best Referee category as a tribute for their precious and irreplaceable job: we're on your side!

VOTING PROCESS: how does it workWe have handpicked a selection of the world’s leading futsal experts from across the globe to decide who will win the Futsalplanet Awards 2019.
Each individual voter will vote for their 5 favourites in each category from the nominees which have been selected by the Futsalplanet team (staff + collaborators network all around the world). They will vote in order of preference. So their first chosen nominee will receive 5 points, their second 4 points and so on with their fifth nominee receiving 1 point.
The winner in each category will be the nominee that receives the most points by the closing date, after which no votes will be counted.
Voting window: March 15th - March 25th*, 2020
* CET time is taken into account for the end of the final day
RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENTAll categories winners of the
Futsalplanet Awards 2019 will be announced on March 26th, 2020.
