A new challenge on the horizon, once again in Asia. After leading Bahrain for three years between 2014 and 2017 the portuguese coach João Almeida has been appointed on tuesday as new head coach of Lebanon. A great chance to shine, given the huge standard and potential of the game in the country.

The new project of Lebanon FA should see Almeida on the A team bench at least until the end of July 2024, two years of great expectations.

João Almeida reaches Beirut after five successful years at Loughborough Futsal and recently ended his England adventure leading the Loughborough University in the EUSA Futsal games in Lodz, Poland.
