The Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) has confirmed the tentative date for the 2021 Futsal Super League final.

This resumption of Futsal activities follows a partial lift of the Lockdown, giving the green light to competitive sports in the country.

According to FAU, the pending 2021 Futsal fixtures shall be played without fans at Old Kampala Sports Arena in Mengo, Kampala under strictly observed COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures.

In a statement issued via the association’s website, FAU has confirmed Saturday 28th August 2021 as the day for the final at the Old Kampala Sports Arena between 7am-1pm.

Big Talent Soccer Academy will vie for this year’s championship with Park while Masaka based Synergy and Mengo will face-off in the classification game (third place play-off) on the same day.

FAU has furthermore set Saturday 4th September 2021 as the kickoff date for the Futsal Uganda Cup quarter-finals, semi-final and the losers’ match.

This year’s Uganda Cup final is scheduled for Saturday 11th September at the same Arena while Under Age Futsal Games serve as curtain raisers for the final.
