Weird, unusual. But true. A second division club will be playing in UEFA Futsal Champions League during the next season? How this could happen? Easy answer: FFF decided to relegate the French futsal champions ACCS Asnières Vileneuve 92 due to administrative matters. In a first moment ACCS Futsal Club management appealed against this severe decision but today came the final word. The national champions just released a press note confirming their relegation in D2 for the next season and gave their version regarding the matter (based on budget discrepancies underlined by FFF as a reason for their relegation).

The club from Paris is anyway stating that their ambitions and programmes won't change and they will go on with their club development model.

According to our informations FFF wanted them to be replaced in UEFA Futsal Champions League by league runners up Mouvaux Lille Métropole Futsal, something denied by UEFA due to their tournament regulations.
