While very conflicting news keep on being released on the AFC Futsal Championships in Kuwait, something more encouraging is coming from Guatemala. A CONCACAF member informed us that the tournament is currently confirmed to take place in Guatemala, and in the next days the the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football should release their 2021 official calendar including also the definitive dates of the futsal tournament (which, as known, will work as FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualifier). The final format and list of participating teams (in case of changes with respect to what was communicated after the 2020 draw) will be announced in dates closer to the tournament.
