First ever Women Grand Prix!
Brazil hosting Chile, Argentina and Paraguay

Happy days for women futsal in Brazil. We were waiting for the official confirmation and today
CBFS
provided us with the dreamed news. The first ever
Grand Prix de Futsal Feminino
, following the men tournament model, is finally confirmed and will take place in Xanxerê (state of Santa Catarina, Brazil) between May 30th-June 2nd, 2019.
Together with the host country Brazil three more nations will take part in this historical challenge: Chile, Paraguay and Argentina. Also, according to our informations, the CBFS intention is to organize one more edition featuring also extra South American countries.
This can finally represent a turning point for the Brazilian women national team, as their last "cap" was given by the couple of winning friendlies against Argentina in Fortaleza, on past December 2018 (2-1 and 4-0).
The
"canarinhas"
preparation for this important event will take place in Chapecó, training in the
Female Futsal
venue.
