SHILLONG - The Futsal Association of West Jaintia Hills (FAWJH) was formed on the August 9, 2018 with an aim to promote futsal in the district. The association was formed in the presence of Brightstar Langbang, President Futsal Association of Meghalaya (FAM) and Fieldingstar Sun, Treasurer FAM. Newly elected FAWJH President Dauniwanchwa Phawa said that futsal would help in producing many footballers in the district. Phawa also urged upon different stakeholders including the elders and youths of the district to support FAWJH. The association will also be affiliated to FAM.
