Futsal League sponsoring companies praised

Manama - HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Bahrain Athletics Association and Honorary President of the Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities, expressed his sincere appreciation to the sponsoring companies and media outlets for their support of the sixth Futsal League.

Organised by the Ministry Youth Affairs and Sports in partnership with HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media Office, the Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League witnessed a great turn out with the wide participation of youth centres, national clubs, young women, disabled individuals, ministries and communities. The league is part of HH’s initiatives in support of youth in sports and humanitarian fields.

Commenting in the wake of the closing ceremony of the event, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the support provided by the companies and the media was part of their keenness to allow the league reaches further successes to be added to what was accomplished in the previous editions.

"The participation of 83 teams composed of 1660 players and administrative staff in the six competitions of the 6th Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League reflects the tremendous interaction by the people in the Kingdom of Bahrain with this prestigious event which is gaining a widespread fame," HH Shaikh Khalid said, extending his thanks to the event's Strategic Partner "Tamkeen", the Golden Sponsor Bapco, the Silver Sponsors GPIC and Banagas, the Bronze Sponsors Alba, Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo, Palace Projects, the Communications Partner Batelco, the Beverages Partner Coca-Cola, the Strategic Media Partner the Ministry of Information Affairs, the Initiatives' Partners Bahrain Olympic Committee, Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation, Bahrain Football Association, the Government Sector Partners the Royal Medical Services and the Ministry of Interior and Be Ready to Volunteer Team, EVENTAT company, Seef Mall and the media outlets, including Bahrain Sports T.V, Akhbar Al Khaleej, Al Ayam Newspaper, Al Watan Newspaper, Al Bilad Newspaper, GDN and the Daily Tribune.

On the other hand, HH Shaikh Khalid expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Chairman of the High Organising Committee of the league Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder and all the ministry members who were involved in organising the event and making it a great success. He also praised the High Organising Committee for delivering the event in an outstanding way.
